I love characters--the complicated, confused, well-meaning ones doing their best to get through the day, even when that day  turns out to include aliens! For me, stories come from characters interacting with each other with their different goals and agendas and how those intersect.

I've always been fascinated by families and the numerous ways they can be formed, and that's a consistent theme in my work. Though families of all kinds are a source of love and support, I've found they can also be a rich source of drama.



My online writing started with fanfic for The Mentalist, with a focus on romance and murder mysteries. If you're interested, you can find me as Idan on fanfiction.net. But science fiction was my first love, and my original work always seems to go back to that. Though there's romance and murder mystery in that too!
