@Annotation3567a Okay okay this is experimental.
Just a funny idea.
BUT.
What if, like, I've been experimenting with "neutrality"
Because. It is natural to help, BUT... if your faction is neutral, if you help one side... You have to help the other, and you can also gain moral high ground.
But then.
If said neutral faction is strong...
Don't you think one side is gonna want it?
So... If you want to stay neutral you shouldn't choose... But then that circles back to morality.
If you don't choose, you stay true to your words, but someone dies. And their blood will be on your hands
But if you do choose... Someone will still die, and you're not neutral anymore and blah blah blah.
So...
That might be pretty fun to explore... But also challenging, again this is merely experimental. Just an idea.
Like. "I wanna help everyone equally uwu" sounds wholesome until you realize it's just dooming yourself to eternal guilt trips. help side A? cool, now side B hates you and escalates, more bodies drop. help side B to "balance"? side A retaliates harder, bodies STILL drop but now you're the hypocrite who picked anyway.
Soo. To say the least. It's a very hard idea but... It's pretty darn fun, it doesn't have to be perfect. And honestly I am still exploring the concept of "neutrality" myself. But that's the gist of it
