Do I need to read tbml first or can healer be stand alone? I see it’s down for editing from other peoples questions

Went to start reading your healer book but it said to read tbml but it’s not coming up in your book list

I just read Bane of the Empire.  I want to read Mists, but is says you haven't updated in 2 years.  Are you going to update, otherwise, I don't want to start it.
