I'm a fantasy/romance writer mostly, but I also have a love of psychological thrillers and I've been trying my hand with that genre as well.  I like to write character driven adventures, to kick off my stories with something unexpected and then find a way to tie it all together.  Although frustrating, I love difficult characters; the ones who won't listen and go down their own path.  I love a character that creates its own self-image, and won't bend for anything.  You then have to listen to what they want and need to get to the end.
