Today, the world lost a great man. My grandfather passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. He was a strong, proud, resilient, and hardworking man who cared deeply about his family. He was like a father to me. He taught me right from wrong, about dedication and hard work, and respected and cared for others, even if he didn't know them. Although it pains me, I know that his suffering is finally over and take great comfort in that and the fact that when I die we will be together again.

Hello everyone. Here's a status update that's long overdue. I've been holding off because it's a little personal, but it's time to give an explanation.
          
          I apologize for the lack of updates. It's been impossible to focus on writing with all the things happening in my life. My mother became really sick last year, and I've been trying to take care of her. We thought she might pass away at one point. Thankfully, she's finally on the mend but it's going to take some time for her to heal. She still has some health issues we need to take care of. My grandfather's health has also deteriorated and he's not doing well. He won't be around for much longer.
          
          All that being said, I can't say when I'll be able to work on my stories again. I don't plan to abandon them, which is something I've stated multiple times, but they'll be on hiatus for the foreseeable future. Things are just too difficult right now and my heart isn't in it. I wish that I could give you all better news, but that's the current situation. I'll make sure to let everyone know when I can start them back up.

Fantastic news everyone! I just finished up the final draft to the first chapter of my Hiei fanfic and have given it to my editor to look over. Once they're done, and I've made the final corrections, I'll finally be able to publish it!!

I have good news pertaining to my Hiei fanfic! I'm working through the draft of the first chapter right now and plan to release it soon! I'm very sorry for the long wait! It might be a little bit longer before I can get the second chapter out, but I thought it'd be best to release what I have.

The new version of chapter eight, The Dangerous Boy, of Breaking the Shackles of the Past has been released! Himiko runs into trouble at school after the events in the cemetery and has an unexpected encounter with a dangerous boy.
