I’ve shared two ideas with you. I can create artwork based on them, and I also have separate artwork ideas for each chapter. If you’re interested, I can share the cover art and chapter wise concepts with you through Discord, Instagram, or email. I can also show you some of my recent artwork there if you’d like.

@maria_blBased on your description, I created an illustration myself and uploaded it.
I would appreciate it if you could take a look and share your thoughts.aze

This is for chapter 2

          Chapter 2 – The Snowfield

The illustration for this chapter should emphasize isolation and survival. A vast white snowfield stretches endlessly under a pale sky, with the wooden palisade of the northern garrison barely visible in the distance. In the foreground, Soun lies half-buried in snow, reaching weakly forward as frost clings to his lashes and wind lashes across the plain. Two soldiers struggle toward him through thigh-deep snow, their dark figures contrasting sharply against the white emptiness. The composition should be dominated by negative space to show how small and fragile he is against the harsh world. This scene represents the thin line between life and death.

This is the ideas for chapter 1, Hope you like it.

Chapter 1 – The Fall of Taiyuan

For this chapter, the illustration should center on the emotional climax Soun kneeling in the burning courtyard of Yu Manor after the fall of Taiyuan. Flames consume the wooden beams behind him while snow begins to fall softly through smoke-filled air. His father lies in scholar’s white robes stained deep red, one hand still gripping a sword, fallen enemies nearby showing he fought until the end. The contrast of fire, blood, and falling snow should dominate the color palette. The composition should feel tragic but still chaos in the background, heartbreak in the foreground. This image captures destruction, loss, and the turning point of Soun’s life.

@maria_blaze I was genuinely impressed by your articulation of visual composition.
Your emphasis on emotional climax, spatial contrast, and the symbolic use of fire, blood, and snow demonstrates a refined understanding of cinematic storytelling language.

The way you distinguished foreground heartbreak from background chaos especially stood out to me.

However, at this time I’m not planning to move forward with artwork commissions or collaboration.
Still, I truly appreciate the professionalism and care reflected in your concepts.
