I grew up in a fast changing Calcutta of the nineties, when children still played with wooden spinning tops. I used to play cricket on the street and lawn tennis in DKS club. After passing my boards from St. Paul's Boarding & Day School, I graduated from St. Xavier's College, and shifted to Delhi to complete my higher studies in the subject of my choice. I had a big dream; I wanted to be a news writer. Passing out of Times School of Journalism when I was finally settling in my life, typing half a dozen news stories and articles through a maddening work schedule daily, I looked within and discovered that I had fallen in love with ink, and we had silently agreed to be inseparable for life. My big dream was achieved, but I had a bigger reality - I had decided to be a storyteller. I returned to my roots, and have thence been spending most of my time putting my fictitious characters through strangest of situations. When I'm not messing up with the lives of imaginary people, you can find me doing serious writing and editing jobs. But all the time I'm observing people, and turning them into characters in my manuscripts.
My debut novel 'Little Longer Than Forever' got released in February, 2014, and it has just been edited and republished in a new cover, and is available in bookstores and is on amazon and flipkart too. I'm currently working on my next two books - a collection of short stories and a novel. I edit and translate books too.

It is a poem about our existence and our identity, and about the people we meet on our journey.
