Gaming should be fun and enjoyable, with it's own challenges and rewards, but superiority over others for playing, one will never be a reward.

It's perfectly okay if your interests do not match your appearance or your 'role' in society. What matters is that it makes you happy and does not harm others. If someone says you cannot like something because of your gender, or race, or age, or 'stereotype' or even your appearance, they do not matter at all. The ones who do are the ones who support you and your happiness.
