When I first picked up a pen way back in 1988, I was around 15 years old, to write Star Trek fanfiction.  A serious fan of the then-new Next Generation, I finally developed the courage to commit my imaginings to paper. Prior to then, I'd generally kept my fanfiction in my head, replaying scenes over and over.

Long before I had internet access (or even a computer at home) in 1998, I branched off into my own original fiction. Nowadays, I primarily write Fantasy, but I do the occasional Science Fiction story, have a slight habit of combining the two, and I sometimes throw a little bit of Mystery into the mix, always in addition to, never on its own.
