@flashhitter Yeah, those parts were really intresting. While I was reading it, I couldn't help but wonder if the creatures he saw were real or not. At the end of the story, I wondered if he really got to the ruins, or if he just saw a pit and his insanity made him think it was what he was looking for.

I'm glad you caught that! One of my fav parts is when Elric realizes he's mimicking the noises of the swamp!
