What came first, the chicken or the egg?
If we are to technically speak it could go, scientifically, either way. Two different breeds of birds could reproduce creating a new species and then this new species would follow the cycle until somehow a chicken is hatched from the egg. But if we go by that then technically the egg comes first, no?
Well, then it gets more tricky. You could genetically modify an egg until it becomes a chicken, but science took forever to come up with that technique and the chicken has been around a LOOOOONG time.
But in both of these, the egg first. WELLLLLL—
After mass extinction over and over and over again, we can assume that evolution happened! Evolution is tricky though...Some animals evolve while they're still living and others evolve before they're even born. So in the case of evolution, which is most likely, the egg OR the chicken could have come first.
So technically it could be either or, however it's more common that the egg came first after years of evolution and accommodating to its homeland.
So what am I saying? The egg likely came first but at the end of the day this debate is rather stupid and more so a brainteaser used to get a class of students thinking.
