TW: mentions of death, abuse. so, i had this internet friend. her name was molly. she was sixteen and the sweetest person you could ever meet. she was in a toxic and abusive relationship for three years. she was blackmailed into staying silent. nevertheless, molly was nice to everyone. to clarie, a nine year old girl who she met in the hallways, to her parents, and to random strangers. but it was just too much. six days ago, she killed herself in her school's bathrooms. clarie, 7 years younger than molly, was her best friend. clarie, who knew about everything but was too scared to say anything. clarie, who is now diagnosed with major depressive disorder. a nine year old girl. so this morning, clarie reached out to me. i haven't heard from her since. and what's funny is, exactly six days ago, i wrote "i know something is wrong i just can't figure out what it is". i guess that was it. so, here we are. molly's dead and clarie is depressed because she thinks it's her fault. so, wherever you are, molly and clarie, i hope you're doing better.
