@abr0kendr3am I would say you don't actually need a suit to identify as a furry. I don't actually have any either - even if my parents know - because of the cost. I simply enjoy the fandom and art, therefore I identify myself as a furry. As for the therian/otherpaw thing, I suppose it would be a bit different. You don't need to have gear or do quads for either, but since therians and otherpaw are distinctly different - one is a choice, the other isn't - it'll probably take a little more time to figure out.

@AveryHasTheMostMayo Tbh i dont know because i wanna be a furry but i dont have enough money for a suit, so i might buy a partial. At the same time tho im not sure if im a cat therian (if those exist) or just an otherpaw since i dont really do quads and i dont really know which i qualify as :P I would say otherpaw since i dont really see myself as a cat but idk since im not very educated

I AM crying.
I was just in class minding my own business on my laptop, and suddenly, I get hit DIRECTLY in the eye by something a student threw.
They didn't even apologize, they just started joking about it.
And when I started rubbing at it - cuz obviously, it hurt a LOT - I heard someone literally go:
"Is she still rubbing here eye?? There's NO WAY it hurt that bad"
In a kind of rude/dismissive way.
I wanna go home.
