          is a memory cryogenically frozen in time, a past life preserved in formaldehyde, sterile and clean-cut with sharp edges and a hospital gown.
          
          i
          stumbled upon her in an alley searching for temporary relief. she said she could fix me but i think she's just a quick fix. 
          
          she
          feels like trying on a dress too big for me. bulky and billowing and unflattering.
          
          i
          just want to be loved. 
          
          she
          says she thinks she can love me. 
          
          i
          don’t love her like i should
          
          she
          blows cigarette smoke in my face and kisses my scars.

          don’t want to hurt her so i desert her

ello it was the pilots’ tenth birthday yesterday & i lowkey forgot to publish this thing on wattpad but it’s on my twitter hshdbdbd

          soft melodies saying it’ll all be alright
          sahlo folina echoes through the night
          you gave me a family, a clique, a pride
          and together we watched you morph
          from a silent whisper, a voiceless dream
          to arenas filled with triumphant screams
          but no matter how huge you become

i’m also pretty bummed about how little support heartbeat’s been getting and while i know that i do this because i love it and shouldn’t require external validation, the positive comments on ethereal just felt really empowering to me. it was always like ‘hell yeah there’s actual real people out there who like this stuff!!’ and it was really great in terms of making me wanna write more so,,, y’know,,,,feedback’s always welcome : )

but i’m so proud of it!!!!! which is a feeling i haven’t felt in a while now so please please please PLEASE go read it if you can!! it’s the first chapter of heartbeat :”D
            i moved some things around to make this one first because i really want it to be the one people see when they open the book, i just think it’s a nice introduction to me and my writing and whatnot
