I'm Brian. Growing up, I didn't really see enough representation. One of the only black authors I knew was Walter Dean Myers, and ever since then, I've wanted to be able to write kind of like him. However, as I've grown I've developed my own writing voice. There's something about the power of storytelling that leaves me in complete awe every time.
