The scariest people in the world aren't made up...they're out there, walking among us. And that's what I write about. Real people, doing horrible things...and those who've survived it all. 

I love watching the Investigation Discovery (ID) channel, shows like Criminal Minds and reading true crime books. I'm an avid horror fan and like to be scared by things that go bump in the night. I'm sort of obsessed with serial killers--but not in that "I-might-be-one" sort of way. I like complicated, imperfect and broken characters, because they're just more realistic.
