            Sorry to comment on such an old thread, But I'm actually writing, Brickcup together in my project, and the reason for me is. Buttercup is very strong-willed, competitive, and lives in to moment unless she's fixated of something she did wrong. I don't like her with Butch, because he's even more impulsive, and would push her to do things she'd regret, just because she won't back down. 
            
            Brick, however, is arrogant and controlling, but also smart, and can clam down off to think tactfully. He'd be bad for Blossom because she is very prideful, and when the to fight for control, she'd like to act above the need to fight and cause long term resentment. 
            
            Brick's arrogance fit well with Buttercups competitiveness, as will always find a way to keep him more humble without looking down on it. and The fact that she needs him to rein her in before doing something stupid, is balanced by the idea that she will never let him control her, even if she let him be in charge.

@YURI_PPGZ12 if you have any otger questions ask away....till tgen ill be watching soul eater and hating the fact that maka and soul will never be together T.T
