Hey Badass Crew! It's time for the next #QuestionOfTheWeek! What was your favorite book you were required to read in school?
eugenemark15
@BadassReads a notable and influential book often studied in schools is George Orwell's "1984." This dystopian classic delves into themes of surveillance, government control, and the impact of propaganda. Connecting it to history and science, "1984" provides a thought-provoking exploration of political ideologies, the consequences of unchecked power, and the potential dangers of technology. The novel remains relevant, serving as a cautionary tale that transcends its time and resonates with readers across various disciplines.

@BadassReads I resonate deeply with Judy Abbott from the novel "Daddy-Long-Legs" by Jean Webster. Much like Judy, I appreciate the transformative power of education and the pursuit of dreams. Her journey from an orphanage to college is inspiring, and her witty and observant nature resonates with me on a personal level. Like Judy, I find solace and strength in learning and expressing myself through writing.

Hey Badass Crew! Here is today's #QuestionOfTheWeek; What's your favorite badass quote? Have you ever used it in real life? Share your answers in the comments below!
eugenemark15
@BadassReads One of my favorite badass quotes is from Winston Churchill: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." I find this quote empowering, reminding me that setbacks are not the end, and resilience is the key to overcoming challenges. While I may not have used it verbatim in real life, the sentiment behind it has inspired me to push through difficult moments and keep moving forward with determination.
