Hey all, my name is Bart,

I am 37 and have been reading stories on Wattpad for a while, lately I have even been adding my own contribution with my first novel "Trigulan"

I am from Belgium, but for the moment I live in Portugal working in the tourism industry.  Since I was in my early teens I have been an avid reader of sci-fi and fantasy novels.  I really got hooked on fantasy around the time I was twelve when I found lord of the rings in the library.  I read it in English (was living in England at the time with my parents) and struggled through the beginning with a dictionary next to me but could not put it down.  After that sci-fi was a small step when the Foundation by Isaac Asimov came my way.  I spent many a night reading in my bed with my little flashlight under the covers so my parents wouldn't notice. 

I have been devouring books ever since reading everything I could get my hands on.  One of my favourite authors is Terry Pratchett and his Discworld series, his sence of humour is amazing.
