Life is really nothing more than mere mindsets and subjective perceptions. That's why the cliché expression is true. Life is what you make it. I would add onto that, however, and also say that life is how you perceive it. It isn't definitive. It's definition isn't definitive,it's subjective; that's its great beauty and tragedy. Choice can be a very seductive notion. Why am I personifying choice? Simple. Choice is what constantly alters our already predetermined path. Why is it predetermined? It's already been dictated because we've already made prior choices, which makes us susceptible to a certain outcome, yet this outcome can always change with the next choice. This phenomenon isn't even a phenomenon. We don't even consciously notice it's cyclical nature. We just see it as the way things are. We fail to see that the power is derived from choice. Choice is not a weakness. Choice is what allows us to deviate from that predetermined predicament, if we so decide so. It can also go the other way though. This tells us one thing. The best things in life are always a double edged sword, disguised as a sword that only has one end.

I write anything, really. I like to peg myself as the philosophical type. Don't think I'm pretentious.
