I'm usually pretty careful with mechanics such as tense---so in order for me to get the full understanding of your critique, please send me here or in PM a sample of a sentence or two where you feel my choice of tense interferes with the impact of the work. Please mention the work, as well. I ask this as I do want to improve the effectiveness of my writing where ever possible. @Califia your an amazing writer but here's some advice; don't be thoughtful be mindful ad in the present instead of then, it would make your writing fan-fucking-tastic.
