@ProfessorObee not really, because publishers, most of them, want the right to FIRST publication. That's what they're buying from you. Because if it's already out there, most of it, they see no value. Now, sometimes they neglect that, but oftentimes they won't take it even if it's good. Or under a condition you delete it.

@behindthebloop so wiser to publish part of the book here incase a publisher spots it. Also I thawt one could get paid on Wattpad

@ProfessorObee if you publish a significant part of your story on wattpad, then it's very likely you won't be able to publish that specific story through a publisher (and make money). Unless you change the plot, names, perhaps even ending if you've reached it. I'm lucky since I essentially revealed nothing about the books and all my names are up for changing anyway.

I am officially discontinuing posting work on wattpad. It has only been a few chapters and not more than a week, but I know some of you enjoyed the stories.
Sorry to everyone, but getting published is a LOT more important to me, and I am unable to do so if it's up on Wattpad.

Sadly, I'm having some doubts about mixing traditional publishers with Wattpad.
Giving away my story for free might kill my chances of getting published one day, works I'm really passionate about.
I've been warned of people getting their work stolen and plagiarized as well.
I'm skipping today to think, hope you understand.
