I'm not the easiest person to get to know, but once I've given my trust and loyalty I'm great fun to be around. Years of campaigning for disability rights have left me with a healthy dose of sarcasm and sass, though I can also be genuinely sweet and kind.

I'm a total bookworm and an animal lover, and I value kindness, respect and gratitude in return. Past experiences of being taken advantage of have made me more cautious about who I let close; I'm an introvert who often communicates online but I also treasure quiet time reading, cooking and walking my four little Chihuahuas.

I was born deaf and live with several long‑term conditions, including fibromyalgia, restless legs syndrome and type 2 diabetes. These bring daily challenges and sometimes isolation, but they've also made me resilient and determined to keep fighting for my rights and for the things I love.
