I like what's written so far and I don't have have any suggestions at the moment. Although if you feel like adding another character later I've always loved the tamer class.

@TheSpiritFox  WOW, that was a massive read. I hope you catch up your sleep okay! I guess you enjoyed Taniel, else you would not have read to the end. I hope you were content with the way I left it. I am tossing up finishing it with the scene which starts book two. Maybe it would be more apt.
