          A Grateful Hallelujah! (Title
          
          The time has come again this year
          
          When we wish all those around good cheer
          And hope we all enjoy a bright new future
          While temperatures drop and snowflakes fall
          We’re hanging ivy in the hall
          And joyfully we shout a Hallelujah
          
          Hallelujah, Hallelujah
          Hallelujah, Hallelujah
          
          The family all sits around the tree
          They’re sharing gifts with you and me
          And laughter fills the room with its sweet music
          The excitement in the children’s eyes
          Our own good fortune we can’t disguise
          And for the world we cry a Hallelujah

          It was long ago we knew the joy
          The birth of a new baby boy
          Whose message was for lasting peace on Earth
          And while it hasn’t quite worked out

          Comfort and Joy
          
          We gather on a dark night
          lit by stars and bright colored lights
          yet heart and soul are warmed
          when gathered in friendship, song and hope.
           to celebrate the birth of the Lord
          in every greeting and gift.
          
          Ooooho, tidings of comfort and joy
          Comfort and joy.
          
          The cold long night sounds with song
          and blessings and all belong.
          Warmer seems the weary soul,
          searching for a quiet shelter safe
          from cold, the winds of night
          the darkness lit by stars.

          In homes humble or great
          of high or low estate
          a new day is born
          and the world is new.
          We rise to praise the dawn
          long waited for, after the good night.
