Blondie wrote her first book around the age of five: a fully-illustrated story about a land of cucumber people... Her writing has got a bit more ballsy since then. It was working as the Children's Book Specialist in Borders that made her realise you could actually write as a CAREER and so went on to study her Masters in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University where she began the novel that is now Heart of Glass.

Blondie lives in Cardiff with her philosopher husband Jimmy and their two cats, Squiggle and Winston. She flips burgers by day and ghost-hunts by night, writing as much as she can in any spare time between.
