Hey hey strangers (and maybe people that I know, but I don't know if I know....if you get what I mean). 

I am an amateur writer from Australia, 19 years old and on a current gap year. Trying to pull myself away from the tedious repetitive nature of schooling for a short period of time before I head off to university in 2k18! Still trying to decide whether or not I major in journalism or creative and professional writing, and I guess that is one of the reasons why I am here. To see if people actually like what I write and if I should pursue a career in it. Writing is one of my passions along with the fine arts and honey (I am actually obsessed, pretty sure that pooh bear has decided to possess my body, still has yet to be scientifically proven though.... So you're just going to have to take my word for it). 
Wattpad has been one of my guilty pleasures for about 6 years now and I just simply cannot get enough of it. It's a real blessing considering that I used to spend an absolute fortune on novels (not even joking, when I was around 12 and babysitting this girl down my street, I saved about $450 and went and blew it all on books......I was a pretty sad preteen and an even more sad as a teenager, I still have yet to improve my spending habits, but wattpad has definitely helped me save money). 
So here I am, slowly coming out of my shell and wanting to share my writing skills, and hopefully you guys show an interest. I have never really been able to complete a full length novel.... Like ever, so hopefully this app will give me the drive that I need to commit fully to one of my passions.
