I live in the rural midlands of the UK. I'm a farmer's daughter and former school teacher. I've been writing one thing and another for a while now. I started with 'tween' fiction which is a surprisingly challenging genre to work in but certainly helps to hone the writing muscle! My guilty pleasure, however, has always been the brightly covered paperback I cram into my hand luggage when I go on holiday. Light and well-written with a bit of sex; pure escapism. I'm a passionate francophile and have recently discovered skiing. Sunshine, fresh air, exercise - what's not to love! 'Going Off Piste' was my first attempt at the chicklit genre. I have completed my second story, 'Deja-Vu' where I hoped to further develop the skills and techniques I test-drove in 'Going Off Piste' and am now working on my third story.
