Greetings, fellow readers and writers, whoever you may be.

Damn, that opening line was a bit dramatic. Never mind, ignore it if you want. The point is, you're reading this, so I guess I'd best write something interesting here, or you'll just feel like you've wasted your time.

I am an immediate fan of good words well spoken and good stories well told, regardless of the medium through which those stories are expressed. Whether in the semantic-rich silence of a novel or the brilliant scintillating colours of a computer-generated spectacle, I am open to all so long as there is an up-to-par story behind it. Gifted storytelling is something I have a real weakness for, which forms part of the reason why I am here in the first instance. Should you come across a story you believe fulfils these criteria, please, do not hesitate to tell me of it, and be prepared to defend your opinions, for I am also one to relish a sterling debate, particularly on a subject of intellectual merit.

Should you seek measured criticism for one of your own works, I am at your disposal. Likewise, feel free to judge my own works as you see fit, for I be always open to the opinions of others, even if I may not entirely concord with them. Simple comments will do, and will be rewarded by way of a tip of the hat from me.

(Please note that I will not provide photographic evidence to this effect. I can assure you, however, that it is a very nice hat.)
