@TheOrangutan Thank you that was an excellent link,I'm still a book person (real paper..) ,but I'm trying to catch up with technology as I realised I was missing out on so much, as such I'm not really familiar with the in's and out's of App's,or the devices they're on.. So information such as you've just given is really helpful, thank you again.
From an obscure little village in the hinterlands of nowhere Warwickshire... Thank you for feeding my obsession and teaching me something new. ;)

No worries, from the edge of not quite so remote Exeter, it's my pleasure.

@AmyJohnson895 Thank you, congratulations it's a really easy read, by that I mean it's well written, an interesting plot (that I haven't guessed the end yet!) and I keep forgetting to drink my coffee while reading this!
So thank you and well done.

Hi Allan,

Thanks for following me and reading THE VISITOR. A major character in the story, appears later, is called Allen for an interesting reason. The main plot is that the female astronaut, Evelyn Slater, discovers a small, ancient alien artefact in low Earth Orbit.

My other complete SF novel, MINDSLIP, also includes an Allan who is the main character of a sub-plot. The novel is about the after-effects of a nearby supernova which affects all creatures on the Earth.

          Hope you enjoy the stories.

          Tony

Hi Allan,
Thanks for the vote on The General's Legacy. I'd be fascinated to see what you, as a former soldier, make of the story if it holds your interest all the way through.
I had a bit inspiration from non-fiction books like Baghdad Operators by James Glass (a pen name), Mercy Warriors by John Coombs and a little from Enders Game by Orson Scott Card. It might be hard to spot the influence, but there is a little in there.
          All the best - Adrian

@CENTURION3754 Thank you very much for the feedback and all the votes. It means a lot to me to hear that you are enjoying it. You are the fastest reader of the story yet!
I actually managed to get internet access and publish chapter 31 sooner than I expected when I saw you vote on chapter 30.
I should be able to published the rest of the book in 3 or 4 hours time. On a train with my mobile phone right now. Cheers, Adrian
