Old style Sci-Fi is what I enjoy. Isaac Asimov, Phillip K Dick, Robert Heinlein, John Wyndam .....Five very different stories here to tickle your fancy (assuming your fancy needs tickling).

I started writing on Wattpad when I first joined around 3 years ago to see how I'd get on with something I'd always wanted to do. After a fair few failures I found that my forte seemed to be Sci-Fi short stories  with The Dream Factory (originally Setting Suns) getting more readers than I could ever have hoped for. Some of the stories have since been picked up and used by Sci-Fi websites around the world- and hopefully one will be published as part of an anthology later this year -so I've been lucky.

Setting Suns is a series of short stories where I have tried to capture the spirit of the writers above. I hope I've done them justice. 

The Shadow of the Moon -is a tale based on the short story 'Forgotten Gods' . If you like your Sci-Fi with a splash of adventure try this story about a young girl on an archaeological dig on an off world planet. It features an Empathe, a good humoured killer Priest, a mad assassin, a god and a monster (and the end of human civilisation just for good measure).

And just to add a bit of variety, Wonga is a comedy (not Sci-Fi) about a put upon Agent working for MI5 , the British Intelligence Services.

I write for enjoyment and have no aspirations other than people read what I write, find it interesting and have a go at writing for themselves. I think everyone has a great tale in them and the short story is a great way to start to explore your writing skills.
