The air was crisp this morning. It’s cold!!! I took a bit of a hiatus didn’t mean to but when I logged back in to over 200+ messages was like whoah. Hope you’re good, and not freezing you a$@ off like I am here. Sometimes I watch those survivalist shows and think I could do that, I could hunt and fish etc but I think it would be the cold that would completely make me fail. Have a nice weekend

Sometimes I just find myself falling into a world that I knew was there but really didn’t see. I had heard about how hard the place had been hit by the hurricanes in the last few years and only had those images in my head to go by. I spent the weekend googling images and videos of Puerto Rico to get a sense of the place for my book, “Creating Kennedy” This place is now on my bucket list :-)
Do you ever wonder if people from your past read your writings? I do, won’t lie. I wonder if they see a bit of themselves in the characters, if they remember things the way I had. My next novel, “Creating Kennedy” is inspired by j€rks from my past. I admit it’s fun to re-imagine them and bring out their mean to inflict on my protagonist.
My big ole cactus has been transplanted and put up a fight too. I wore work gloves, the ones with that dipped rubber coating and it still pricked me through the gloves. pic up on fb
