Aspiring novelist and poet. I feel like the reaction to that is "duh, join the club", but I felt the need to say it.

I'm 21 and am a nursing student. I'm a Patient Care Technician and enjoy what I do, even though the work is gross and I don't get paid enough. I love people, and the medical field gives me so much opportunity to care for and serve them.

I also love the fictional people that live only in my head and through my writing. I can't wait to share them and their journeys with you! I'm kind of dramatic and emotional, and use poetry as a form of self-therapy and expression. So check out my collections of poems if that's your thing too.

Outside of writing and people, I enjoy playing guitar, dancing and singing when no one is watching/listening, fall leaves, yoga, studying languages, candles, old movies and musicals, rain, reading and smelling all the books, mountains, mismatched coffee mugs, Japanese food and anything astronomy related.  I want to be Emma Watson when I grow up. My God and my family are very important to me. I'd argue that I'm a feminist and a mild left libertarian. Oh, and I live off of Dr. Pepper, dark chocolate and herbal tea. 

My goals for the future include graduating with my BSN, traveling and humanitarian work, and someday convincing my husband we need five kids. Just not for a very very very VERY long time.
