The Trans Bill 2026 — a bill made to protect Transgenders, ironically being rejected by the community because it takes away their autonomy and privacy; bringing the entire bureaucracy into an individual's personal choice to make decisions for them.

This bill threatens not only Trans Rights, but also Queer rights.

The bill may have made it through the Lok Sabha, but it can still be stopped at the Rajya Sabha, if we try.

@Theconfusedsoul- hey, you are welcome! ^^

I really loved the book. The poetry was quite bittersweet and filled with longing. Going through one's first love and being unable to express it, especially when they're so close; it is quite difficult to put on the face of friendship and pretend everything is okay. Not that I have any experience, lol.

Either way, it was a fun read!

I miss being in college.

No, not the studies and assignments and projects, definitely not them. Nor the professors! I miss my classmates.

They were weird, yes, and arrogant to various degrees. But they had common sense — the maturity to stay silent when they knew their opinion would be discriminatory in nature.

Unfortunately, my office colleagues don't have that.

I believed that the more someone studies, the more knowledge and experience they gain, along with maturity and common sense. Turns out, I was wrong.

          Horribly wrong!

A higher education doesn't always mean better behaviour and maturity.

On one hand, they fetishize having a gay/lesbian friend, enjoy talking about shows with such characters and fawning over them, do the most gayest things with each other. At the same time, they'd spew wild things like it's normal — "Disgusting", "Mental ill", "Mental illness", "Should not be normalised" — and other homophobic and transphobic things that make my stomach churn.

Everyday spent with them is anything but peaceful.

          _____

Don't mind me. I'll delete this in the future, when I calm down.

Anyways, how are you all doing? How's life treating you?

CalmGuy9

@Shanayaisback actually! It was a good thing I kept my distance because I finally met a bunch of people with actual brains and maturity.
