A few years back, I was an active Wattpad writer, but I burned out and deleted my profile. That meant I lost my Wattpad Star status and, more importantly, all of my lovely readers! That was dumb. So, I'm starting over...

I live and write in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, where there are plenty of trails to wander and enough rain to justify indoor writing marathons in my Pjs.

I'm the author of the Hannah series published by Ronsdale Press: Hannah and the Salish Sea, Hannah and the Spindle Whorl (Silver Moonbeam Award for historical fiction), and Hannah and the Wild Woods (2017 Chocolate Lily Award for BC's Best Novel), along with a few standalone books like Tangofish and The Peculiar Language of Llamas. These days, I'm working on my first adult contemporary novel.

After retiring from teaching high school art, I found my way into audiobook narration and have since recorded 30+ titles. I still love storytelling in all its forms-whether I'm writing my own or bringing someone else's words to life.

When I'm not writing, I'm usually out hiking with a sketchbook, or at home with my husband and our beagle, Gordon.
