Back from a very long hiatus. I won't be here long. But I thought I owed it to you guys to say hellol

Writing my story "Big Time Adoption" I am not in the dark that these abuse scenes aren't fictional, and that these horrible things do happen in real life. Together we can make a difference to stop domestic violence and abuse by: 
-Model respect for all members of your family and your community
-Commit to dialogue instead of yelling
-Encourage children to talk about what they feel
-Help them devise responses other than hurting others
-Set clear boundaries for how you want to be treated and respect the boundaries of those around you
-Challenge discriminatory and dehumanizing name-calling
-Stand up to bullies
-Report violent behavior to the appropriate authorities
-Listen
