          If It Had Ever Been Enough is my first novel. Hitting “publish” on something this personal felt terrifying and meaningful all at once. 
          
          Katherine and Cole lived in my head for a long time before they ever made it onto these pages.
          
          Not every detail mirrors real life, but the emotions are real. 
          
          The confusion. The intensity. The slow erosion. The work it takes to step out of a cycle and choose yourself.
          
          I left the ending open on purpose.
          
          So I have to ask,
          
          Do you think they find each other?
          Do you want them to?
          If they did, what happens next?
          
          This story was never just about whether they end up together. It was about who they become on their own.

Hi all! 
          
          We officially have one more chapter of If It Had Ever Been Enough.
          
          I’m still polishing and editing it — and wow, there’s a little pressure in wrapping up your first book.
          
          I’m aiming to have it up this weekend, but I’m deep in the “tweak one sentence and then tweak it again” phase.
          
          Also there is the fear of will everyone hate the ending?  So no promises just yet.

I hope everyone is enjoying If It Had Ever Been Enough 
          
          Right now we’re in the aftermath. This part of the story is about what happens after everything falls apart. The breaking down. The rebuilding.
          
          These chapters are important to the characters, and I want to get them right. They deserve that care. Because of that, I’ll likely be posting one chapter a day or every other day instead of multiple.
          
          We’re about 70 to 75 percent through the story now, which feels surreal.
          
          How are you feeling about it so far?

Hi Everyone-
          The next chapter I might break into a few.
          
          It’s pretty explosive so I want to make sure I do it right and take my time to smooth it out.
          
          I may not post an update for another day or two while I work on that.
