Amongst a large outcropping of massive stones covering the land, one could see what appeared as a Cathedral. The build was mysterious, foreign, and old. The architecture it presented was like none other, complex, almost unearthly. As old as it was, it remained standing, however in shambles, covered in moss and climbing plants such as the devil's ivy, and many other unidentifiable plants. The closer one looked, the better one could see the white mineral buildup on each leaf and flower, as if they had been showered in salty water a thousand times over and had grown stiff from it.
The farther in one would walk to the strange cathedral, the more prominent and apparent that buildup would become, until full on, cube like crystals of salt were seen forming among many different matrix's, getting bigger as the wanderer would waltz in. Under the buildup of old salt, many religious-like symbols never before known, could be seen decorating the building. The level of abandonment and neglect the Cathedral was in, gave a slight ting of a sinister feeling, and the old religious imagery didn't create any sense of safety either. the atmosphere was grey and dull, but yet it was easy to get a sense of beauty out of this otherwise eldritch creation, sitting seemingly alone on a desolate and mountainous landscape.
And then within seconds, a loud, shrill, horrifying scream would rattle through the building. It was what true terror in it's purest form sounded like.
