Upon entry into the land, travelers would be met with a bleak and desolate atmosphere. Black clouds constantly hung across every horizon of the kingdom's skies, and it was not at all uncommon for ancient dragons and wyverns of all kinds to be seen in great gatherings, flying in circles and making their way to the land's highest tower. Under the far reaching gaze of the monument, the land had a strong presence without, the presence of the monarch's power. Pauper peasants could be seen toiling tirelessly in the fields, battalions of troops in ebony marching steadily in routes, merchants crying out desperately for the money they need to live. Occasionally, citizens could see troops of Dragon Knights and Wyvern riders soar low to the ground, practicing training maneuvers. The ruling power, King and Queen Kryseigg, placed a great deal of resources into military defense.
The monarchs resided not with most of the citizens, but rather on the other side of a great and wide body of water, the enormous building structure connected to the mainland by a large bridge. The bridge would seem to be covered in dried blood stains from previous battles, and even had a couple bodies hanging at its edges, held up above the water by well shot arrows. The building structure was built in four levels, with the kingdom watchtower perched upon the center of the fourth. Each level stretched several meters high, and on top of each roof one could see gatherings of perched dragons, shouting at each other, and being handled by black knights.
The fourth level was where the throne room was located, guarded by knights at each door as well as the bedchambers and studies of the rulers. The throne room is where issues may be addressed, and where meetings may be held.

@-Saphira-The guards gave a relieved sigh, another coming up the stairs to say, "He's almost done. He'll be up her momentarily." Then he walked back down, leaving the other guards to sigh in relief.View all Conversations
