Happy new year everyone,hope you enjoy the year!!

It so happened to me,that I write this song,
          How 2021 never felt that long. 
          It gave me happiness. It gave me joy,
          Teaching me that every moment is made to enjoy. 
          12 months of an year,
          gave me a best friend for ever. 
          It just feels like yesterday,I stayed up all night,
          waiting for the fireworks when the clock struck midnight. 
          I don't know why I feel emotional,when just a calendar year has passed. 
          But I know the feelings it showed me will forever last. 
          It was just yesterday,I got introduced to BTS. 
          Yes,it was just yesterday I started listening to TS. 
          My dreams finally got shaped,
          The misunderstandings under the names of happiness,I had finally escaped. 
          I found out who actually cared for me,and who were fake,
          I understood that everyone could make a mistake. 
          I know,there is always a way out of everything. 
          But what about those who are stuck in nothing. 
          I am not that good with words,
          But I am better than nerds. 
          This year taught me persistence,this year taught me kindness in every season. 
          This year taught me that every single thing happens for a reason. 
          Though there are not many experiences in my shelf,
          I know I should love myself. 
          So soon,the year ended,
          But it showed me what I needed. 
          There are many people who walk along,
          But we should be mentally strong,
          As I remember what I did right and wrong,
          I realised,
          Yes,2021 never felt that long.
