I left my heart in the 90s and my writing's full of references to my own teenage years - I want you to love these tv shows, bands, crazes as much as I did and if there is something you're not familiar with just ask! 
I read a lot of teen fiction and realised the stuff I wanted to write lay inbetween the real to life dramas of John Green and the fantastical fictional worlds of dystopia.    
One of my favourite writers told me 'You've got to write for yourself' which is exactly what I've tried to do and I don't want to alienate anyone - instead, I want to invite you into my world!
