I like stories about strong women who persevered despite whatever difficulties they face.  I also love my family, my girl friends, small towns, and lots of humor.  Therefore, I mixed them all together and placed them in made up towns located in the Appalachian Mountains.  

These unique women met each other in the mountainous town of Alastair.  As a loyal and loving group, they will change their community, making their town an ideal place to live for themselves and for everyone else.  I believe that real strong women build each other up (which I've experienced in real life), and they have the power to uplift their community.  

My stories will have a spiritual flavor, but I'm not advertising any religion.  I also have actually written three of the novels partially and know the ending of those three.  However, I'm trying to publish them in a chronological manner, so I have to write one story from the beginning before I publish the other two stories.
