Well, everyone, I'm still alive! 
          
          I'm actually, sincerely sorry for the fact that I haven't updated since July, but I do have a very good reason.  I am a full-time college student and I do have a job, so my time is stretched between schoolwork, actual mandatory classes that I have to attend, and my job (which takes up my weekends and nights), I don't have much in the way of free time, but since finals week hit I've knuckled down and wrote the details, then re-wrote them four times, and finally decided that you've waited long enough.
          
          To the people who've been following me, adding this story to their reading lists, voting, commenting, I've seen it and it's heartwarming; thank you all so much!
          
          Well, with no further excuses and delays, Chapter Five is UUPPPPP!!!!!!!

I LIVE!!!!!!!
          
          And, on the day that the dragons disappeared, I come to you with a new chapter! This should be the last relatively boring one before we get into the meat of the story.
          
          I just want to say thanks to everyone who wished me well and told me not to worry about writing when my head wasn't in a good place. Your words were touching.

Okay, I know you guys keep hoping that I'll someday pop up in your notifications with good news, but alas, this is not one of those notifications.
          It's kinda the opposite.
          No no, I'm not dropping the book, but the update has been pushed even further back. I've been trying to work on it in my free time after work and on my days off, but I've gotten dragged into some serious family stuff that is affecting me emotionally on a very serious level and I don't want that to affect the book in a negative way.
          I'm fine, no one's dead, but it was very serious and I need some time to deal with it and work through it.
          Don't worry, I'll still be working, but I need some time to cope and adjust and get that dead look out of my eyes before I approach writing.

Rest assured, I am not dead, I just went back to work and feel like I am. I'm on my feet all day five days a week, and I haven't really had time to write, so updates will probably be really slow until I find time to sit down and write. I haven't forgotten, I don't not have inspiration, I just am exhausted and my joints hurt.

Also, just an interesting tidbit if you care to look: on a Google Doc, this thing is already roughly 50 pages, which is weird to me. Feels like it's a lot less...

Not a update, but an amusing story nonetheless.
          
          So, for context, I was researching the zodiac for Lucy's magic, and I came across the Chinese zodiac. I hadn't thought about my zodiac in years, but I thought I was a dragon of some kind. I was born in the year 2000, and when I saw I was a metal dragon I turned to my sister (who also loves Fairy Tail) and just screamed "HEY I'M GAJEEL"
          
          She just gave me the most disgruntled look ever and went "uh, no."
          
          But I'm still Gajeel.

Wattpad seems to be bugging. I went to fix a typo in Firelight, and the thing said something like '6 of 6 parts published' and I was sitting here like "oh, that's nice, wonder who wrote the other three!" And then just say there blinking at how stupid I was.

Hello, people! I'm sorry for the long wait, classes were kicking my butt with finals week, but I'm out, I'm alive, I passed, and that's what matters!
