I have no work published on this platform. So, here's a "brief" essay about me, and my reading preferences... I was born and raised in the UK. I love to read and I enjoy most genres and tropes. When not participating in sports I also love to cook, eat, and sleep. I'm not a fan of watching TV, or SM and for someone my age I'm not very good with pop culture. I CAN'T STAND cheating books where they get off easyily. Regardless of circumstance, I want to see them suffer and grovel! I need the satisfaction--even if it's not always indicative of RL. Imo, the worst kinds of CB are the ones where the MC is weak-minded, pathetic, and allows the other person to walk all over them (then takes them back). Call me petty, but I want the gratification of seeing them suffer and emotionally bleed before given a second chance, if any. I've grown exhausted from seeing POC portrayed as if the only partners they can get are the ones who shit on them.

A good story is a good story, but I'm partial to IR/BWWM, BWAM & IR/LGBTQIA+ and though I'm not always able to wrap my mind around intersex, I'm trying. I like IR novels bc being biracial, it's what I relate to the most. I also don't always need a conventional HEA if the book is well-written. Unfortunately, bc I'm a blunt and passionate reader, at times my comments can be scathing (for that you have my sincerest apologies). Therefore, if you disagree with MHO do try not to get pissed off bc it's not meant with malicious intent. One of my greatest pet peeves with a lot of contempory writers is the popular style of writing from one POV. I'm not too fond of it bc every story has TWO (some have multiple) and imo, you can't write an unbiased story from one POV, esp when dealing with drama & cheating so I like reading EVERYONE'S perspective...even the antagonist's. However, if it's well written I will read it and likely recommend it. If you block me I won't lose sleep over it... Just being honest. Happy writing! 😊🤗✌🏼💛
