I’m sure you already know that authors can see the name of the reading list you’re adding you are publicly adding their books to. But just in case you didn’t know, there’s that. Good luck on your own book and if you so desperately want to give criticism on something be more precise instead of ‘bad do not read’. It serves you better at least.

@Charloteeeeeeeeeeee it's okay! I really appreciate the apology, and i'm glad that you've also changed the name. at the end of the day, people make mistakes, and what matters is that you take accountability. you did just that, and thank you for that. a lot of people don't anymore

@walkingdisster @Nanaqtpi219 I’m really sorry, I honestly didn’t realise my lists were public. That list was originally just for books I genuinely didn’t like, but over time I started using it more as a “didn’t finish” list for all sorts of reasons, mostly my own changing preferences and interests. A lot of the books in there weren’t actually “bad”, I really enjoyed the writing, but I stopped reading yours in particular because I wasn’t into Marauder stories anymore or x-reader fics. I just never got around to changing the title, and I can see how that comes across as disrespectful. I see now that the name I gave the list looks harsh and disrespectful, which was never my intention. I’ve changed the title so it doesn’t give the wrong impression, and I truly respect the time and effort you’ve put into your work. I’m really sorry again for how careless this was.

@walkingdisster i came here to comment something very similar! It's so beyond rude. People have spent time and dedication into these stories. True criticism is very different then flat out disrespect. This person did it to my story as well
