I read Quiet Like A Deer, sublime writing and the characters leap from the page. Realistic dialogue and emotions are display in such a manner I feel like a peeping tom, reading these characters private thoughts. Please update, to be honest if you decided to published any of your novels I will buy immediately.

Thank you for replying to my message. This novel is worthy of a completion, all of your writing is brilliant.

@imagobird Thank you, and that's definitely a motivation call for me to continue writing that book, as I was thinking of dropping it.

Hi! I hope you don't mind me asking you something. I recently read The Maid Who Belonged to the Bratva King, and I really loved the premise and the dynamic between Imani and Roman.

Your story inspired an idea of my own that I'd really love to write, but I want to be completely transparent with you because I respect your work and don't want you to feel like I'm trying to copy your story.

The first 8 chapters of my story would have a very similar setup to yours. A woman takes a well-paying job inside a dangerous mafia household, learns the rules of the house, tries to remain unnoticed, is eventually brought into the mafia boss's private world, and catches his attention. I know that's more than just a general mafia trope, which is why I wanted to ask you directly rather than assume it would be okay.

From Chapter 9 onward, however, the story would go in a very different direction. The characters, their histories and motivations, the relationship development, conflicts, plot, twists, and ending would all be different, and I would write everything in my own words and style. I wouldn't be using your characters, dialogue, or scenes.

I completely understand if you're not comfortable with me using your story as inspiration, especially knowing the opening similarities. I won't be offended at all, and I wanted to ask you first because I would rather be respectful of your work than simply go ahead without telling you.

Would you be comfortable with me writing it? ❤️

ChayaSipsTea

@Cherryinheels Thank you so much for being so understanding and giving me the go-ahead. It means a lot to me. ❤️ I’ve published the first four chapters already, and I’m really excited to see where the story goes. Thank you again for being so kind about it! ❤️

@ChayaSipsTea. Honestly, I would like to say no, but that would be unfair to the creative space of writing. As long as it is done right and gives credit due, I do not mind. I would be interested in reading it, writing a different point of view, so I would change my mind and say go ahead as long as it is done correctly and respectfully. Go ahead. I look forward to reading it and giving my 2cents.

Hello, cherryinheels I really do love you stories and it motivates me to keep writing, though this is my first time of writing a novel and publishing it but I’m not a professional like you so I’m looking forward to meet writers like you as a friend or even as a collaboration together

Seraphine_Dusk05

Actually i don’t have a lot of readers and vote like others yet, so i kinda think I should just stop writing novels because I felt my story isn’t good enough. But it fine though, nice meeting you by the way

@Seraphine_Dusk05 Hello, firstly, thank you for the compliment. The professional part, well, I may second-guess that part, as I really love writing. For you, writing a novel for the first time, just keep writing and posting and have fun with it, even when it's not perfect, and I'm looking forward to reading your books and becoming fellow writers with you.
