When I was seven, I wanted to write. My first journal had entries like "went to lunch." Clearly, I was Pulitzer material already. But I've been trying since then to work on full sentences. 
Favorite movie: Blade Runner, Director's Cut. All of Miyazaki's films (bet I've seen more than you). 
A nod to the Matrix, but maybe just the first movie. 

Favorite music: African drums.

Favorite books: Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Tolkien, Rowling, Bradbury, Brooks, Tamara Pierce, Foundling series ( the world, not the characters), many others that begin with things like, "the one with the girl who's got an assassination knack but it turns out differently..."
