The Feeling Of Getting Lost in a Book

I Opened a book and in I strode 
Getting lost in the Fairytale road.
I read to my heart's content
Until my reality was bent.
As I read, the people around me started to fade;
My attention for imagination
I thought was a fair trade.

It's not the first this had happen,
And I'm sure to you aswell.
The storyline consuming us
as we dwell.
WE are taken to a place,
Never been before;
Letting it take us
at our core.

We live in a new reality,
Paying attention to nobody.
We hear the voices,
And see the emotion,
As each character rejoices.

But in the End
All is fake,
And soon enough
It all will Fade.
