Minnesota is the land of my birth and was my home for the first half of my life. I lived and worked in Haiti for seven years and have made short-term mission trips to Jamaica, the Philippines, and the Zona Maya in Mexico. I’ve been working on my southern accent here in North Carolina for 20 years and, in 2004, I entered the foreign world of dairy farming. In recent years, writing has become my passion and my pastime. I participated in (and won) NaNoWriMo for the first time in 2013.
