Only occasionally referring to himself in the third person, Clay Vermulm is a semi-hermetic author who spends his time scrawling madly upon paper, staring blankly at his computer screen, and having one-sided conversations with his cat (some might call it writing). Clay also hosts a podcast dedicated to promoting independently published and newly published authors title Sinister Soup. When he isn't doing all of that, he's usually rock climbing or playing board games with his wife and friends.

Clay was recently chosen as a finalist for the Rick DeMarinis Short Story Contest. His horror short "Blue Rare" was published on Miss Fearsome and his horror/climbing novella "Crevasse" was picked up in November by City Stone Publishing. "Crevasse is slated for release in the early summer of 2022.
